Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo Sa Maayos at Maunlad Na Lipunan

There is one time where we have to choose what road are we going to pass through. The straight road or the rocky one. Do you want to take the risk just for success?
We all want to have a peaceful and progressive country. Nowadays, we experience tragedies in life. Crimes all over the country. Death is near to all of us. P.Noy once said that we should take the straight road for improvement. But can we do this without cooperation? For me, NO, we can't! If we want to make a change, we must start it within ourselves.
Ask this to yourself, are you a good citizen? Do you often cooperate to the activities in your barangay? If yes, then it's good. If no, then you must wake up! Open your eyes to reality that you must start motivating yourself and start a UNITY. Through this, peace and success will be near to our hands. We must choose the right way. The future depends on us.
We must have a good relationship to our fellowmen to achieve our wishes. To have a peaceful and progressive place. So we must be wise to choose the right way and for sure, it'll lead us to success!

A WEEK OF HAPPINESS..

Dark streets. Creepy sounds. Zombies arrived! Awoooh! Run! Run as fast as you can. Watch out for they might be in front of you!
This scene is just the most exciting and most unforgettable part of my semestral break. You might be wondering, why?
Semestral break is when students have no classes and it is the time to relax. A short vacation. After the brain-storming periodical test, we deserve it! First day of it, I just slept the whole day for my body and mind to rest. But in the second day, my classmates texted me and said that we will be joining the 'Raniag (Twilight Festival)'. I was shocked! Nervous! The contest will be held in four days time. Can we make it? Even though my heart and mind was contradicting, I joined the contest. It was really a sacrifice. Instead of enjoying the sembreak, we were in the school practicing. But I never felt any disappointment. Everything that happened in our practice was worth remembering. I really enjoyed it! Inspite of the pressure, we were all happy. We made our best for the contest.
I also visited our loves ones who passed way in the cemetery. We stayed there for 5 hours. It was the time for us to show our love and respect to them even if they're not here.
My happiness cannot be measured. I was very happy for having a great friends whom I've shared this week of happiness. Sembreak was over, back to normal! Chok-chak!

A NEW BEGINNING..

Time flies so fast. Second periodical test is fast approaching. Two months after my first reflection, here I am again writing about the things that happened during the second grading period.
For me, two months is too short. But in this span of time, I've learned many lessons already. We learned more about exer. We also tackle about HTML formatting, stand-alone tags, pre-formatted text, etc. I have also encountered problems about font attributes. But of course, Ma'am Vera Cruz is to the rescue! She explained it to us on how to use it perfectly. She's always ready and the best!
There is still lots of time left for us. I know that Ma'am will teach us more. Moving on, I will be more active and participative in our class.

Breaking Barriers Through English...

There are many places in the world. Big and small islands. Different languages use for each place. Different faces, peoples. There is a big wall between this places. But, can we break it?
Many of us are aware that English is our universal language. It is use for communication inside and outside the country. Businessman use English to sell their products. Because of English, they can communicate well. Our President Aquino settle our problems outside the country through English. For example, the hostage taking in the Quirino Grandstand, the leader of the Chinese Republic used English to talk to us so that we can understand him. We can also use English to express our feelings. English could make us one!
English can break barriers around the world. It can make us unite to be one. It can be our savior. English is indeed a powerful language.

Filipinnovation, The Way Forward!

Close your eyes. Imagine the scene of the People Power here in our country. Isn't it great to know that we Filipinos are very aware about our country. We don't ant to be dominated. We want change!
But look around you now. Where is this cooperation that we showed before? Did we forget about it? Some of us, Filipinos, have no care about what's happening around us. Crab mentality. A trait which many of us are showing. They try to pull someone who is on top of them. Because of insecurity, many are hurt. Some are killing. Our world is changing. For the better? Being into a modernized world is such a change. The changes that makes us change also. We prefer to use the modernized things. We have also forgot about the traits that we inherit from our ancestors. But we should not! We must change for the better.
Change must start within ourselves. We, Filipinos, must innovate. Remember that there is no shortcut to success.

My Teacher, My Hero....

As I looked back to my childhood life, there is person I will never forget. She guides me on my way. She never show disappointment in her eyes. She burns herself like a candle just to enlighten me. She saves me from being down. She's my superhero!
Everyday, as I go to school, I see her lovely face. She never fails to smile. She carry herself with confidence and power. Everyone respects her. Whenever I have problems, she's always there to give her opinion. She always encourage me to be a better person. When I'm sad, she will approach me and ask, "What's wrong, my Dear?". She taught me lessons that I should learn for my future. She burns the midnight oil just to have something interesting lesson to teach for the next day. And when she's tired, she never show it to us. She always say that our smiles are their biggest reward from all of the hardships. She's all worth it! Who is she?
As I go on with my life, she will always be a part of me. She is my second mother, my hero and the best teacher here in my heart!

I WILL SURVIVE!

First day of school, I was excited with our subject ICT because I know that it is all about computers. I learned about the history of internet from the launching of the first artificial satellite to the first time that the Philippines used it. I have also learned what is the meaning of blog and how to create a blog. Blogging is very useful to us students. How to write in the notepad? Ma'am Vera Cruz taught us also about it.
Encountering problems is but normal. I have encountered problems in the pasting of blog skins. Except from this, no more problems.
Because of my classmates and with the help of self study, I have surpassed from these challenges and problems.
I hope for the next grading period, I will learn more knowledge in blogging and how to enhance my blog. Moving on, I can survive!

Tick-Tack!

Tick-tack, ting! The clock strikes 12:00 a.m. Another day, another life, another chance to save the world. A chance to show our love and care to our nature. Another chance to show our respect to our language.
Being a Filipino, it is a must to be aware of our language so that the next generation will know it. Just like also our nature. Enough love from us is needed by them. Let's open our eyes to reality. How our mother earth is suffering from those pains created by us. Let us be sensitive enough and start taking care of it. Start it by taking care of our language. The Filipino language. How? You must be proud of it. Love it like yourself and respect it very much. And soon, you will know how important it is to us.
It is not yet late. We must take care of our language and nature by giving them love and importance. We must do it now before the clock strikes 12:00 p.m and we might lose our chance.

Nine Months..

Being a mother is a big responsibility. The health of your baby depends on you. But isn't it great that after those challenges you've been through, the sight of your healthy baby can fade those pains away?
Nine months! Nine months of eating pure vegetables and fruits to ensure baby's health. Exercising daily must be done too. Your husband is always there. He can't hide the excitement that he feels. He takes care of you and your baby. He always make sure that you drink your milk and take your vitamins that the doctor prescribed. This are the things you must do as a responsible mother for nine months.
Alas! You will give birth to your child. How happy you are that the sacrifices were over. How your heart filled with joy when you heard the first cry of your healthy baby. =)

congratulations!

Dear Mr. President,
Yellow! The symbol for success. Sir, I would like to salute you for winning the heart of the Filipinos. Congratulations for the victory of yours. For being the newly elected president of the Philippines.
Philippines is a beautiful country. It has many breathtaking views where tourists have been captured. But when I open my eyes to reality. Behind those lovely views, I saw the needs of the people. How they suffer from poverty. How their destitute eyes begged for food. Sir, I am just a simple student but you, you're the new President. You can make changes. Big changes. I'm sure Sir that you, yourself is aware about those students who can't afford to buy their school supplies. Who walked kilometers away just to be in school. Who have few books to use. Sir, from my sincerely heart, I am hoping that you can help those students who are less fortunate.

Sir, I know you can rebuild our country and make improvements for the better. I believe in you Sir, like my fellow citizens do. Thank you Sir and take care!

Respectfully Yours,
Lizette Garcia
